Message from AppDirect

I’m writing to you about some recent changes that are a culmination of your journey over the past few years with John Schwarze and AppDirect. John has always been a key partner for you and AppDirect, and in this email, we’re excited to share details about these changes and what they mean for you.
 

Until 2019, John Schwarze partnered with CNSG, which was acquired by AppSmart in 2019. In January this year, the AppSmart brand was unified with AppDirect. Because the AppSmart name and logo are no longer in use, we asked our advisor and master agent partners who were branding themselves as AppSmart to market themselves under their own company name going forward.
 

This doesn’t change anything about your relationship with John Schwarze and AppDirect, and from an operational perspective, it’s business as usual. The only difference is that John now operates under his own brand, Tin Can Distributors, and your emails from John and Michelle will now come from their Tin Can domain.
 

This change has no impact on commission splits, and you will continue to receive your commission payments from AppDirect.
 

Although there are no operational impacts, the AppDirect unification is already having positive impacts for your business and your ability to meet your customers’ needs—with more choices than ever and better resources.
 

For example, we recently launched a unified experience for advisors and agents that provides one-click access from a single dashboard to every type of service offering—cloud, telco, and energy. It gives you rapid access to all the tools and information you need to manage quotes, commissions, reports, and more. We also launched a single commission system, statement, and commission payment. This level of integration is unique in the industry and it simplifies your ability to cross-sell services and create solution packages that deliver the ideal technology stack for your customers.
 

Our AppDirect catalog is the broadest in the industry, with thousands of technology, energy, cloud, and telecommunications products from more than 1,000 providers integrated on the AppDirect platform. Following our brand unification we’re making more of those products available to you so you can make even better technology recommendations to your customers.
